The Violin Making program is a five-year professional course, with a three year lower programme plus a two year advanced course for Italian and foreign students. A residence permit is required for non-EU citizens.
The course takes place from October through June, three days a week, and has a duration of six hours a day, divided between the morning and the afternoon.
A total of 2.000 hours tuition is thus programmed; the attendance to the lessons is mandatory.
Approximately two days a week are reserved to the violin making workshop, while other subjects include:
• Instrumental exercises
• Varnishing workshop
• Wood technology
• Acoustics
• Drawing
